The Rutgate

The only reliable road north other than Kelvin’s Pass, it goes through the foothills northwest of Sudenburg to Watchington Heights. While most puerile believe it’s name comes from the wheel ruts left by the merchant wagons, it really derives from the red flowers that line the path into the hills.
